Rugby: Australia bring in Barnes for Cooper

Berrick Barnes has been recalled to replace the suspended Quade Cooper in one of two personnel changes for Australia's Tri-Nations rugby test against New Zealand.

First five-eighths Cooper was suspended for two weeks for a dangerous tackle in the second half of Australia's 30-13 win over defending champion South Africa on Saturday.

He has appealed the severity of the two-match ban.

Barnes was included in the starting lineup at second five-eighths, with Matt Giteau shifting one spot in to first five-eighths. Stephen Moore replaces Saia Faingaa at hooker. Faingaa took Moore's spot on the bench.

The All Blacks had two bonus-point wins over South Africa at home to start the Tri-Nations. The Melbourne match will be their first on the road.

WALLABIES:

Adam Ashley-Cooper, James O'Connor, Rob Horne, Berrick Barnes, Drew Mitchell, Matt Giteau, Will Genia, Richard Brown, David Pocock, Rocky Elsom (captain), Nathan Sharpe, Dean Mumm, Salesi Ma'afu, Stephen Moore, Benn Robinson.

RESERVES:
